Anyone who was born in the 80's or early 90's can appreciate classic and retro style games. Since I was born in the 80's, I got to experience systems like Atari, Nintendo, and SNES to the full extent. I find that SNES is still my favorite system. I did enjoy N64 as well but not as much. I also liked Sega.

What are some classic or retro gaming systems and games you enjoyed?

To be honest, I get a tingling feeling of nostalgia every time I play SNES, N64, or PS1 games. I love me games of those era's, I don't know why. Even now gaming just feels like a hobby, and I fall in and out of love with it. Sometimes I'll go stretches of MONTHS without playing a game, and then suddenly, Im gaming every night.

But whenever I pick up a new SNES or PS1 or N64 game through an emulator or something? I turn into a kid, make some popcorn, break my diet and get a 24 pack of soda, and I'm up all night playing old or new classics I never played before. i once spent all weekend replaying Castlevania: Symphony of the night.

I still have a soft spot in my heart for the original Nintendo. That duck hunt dog laughing at me brings me back to being a kid, ordering a Pizza, pop and video games on the weekends.

My favourite would have to be Zelda II: The adventure of Link. I have an emulator program on my Mac so I can play it. Got way further as an adult than as a kid, but you can get maps etc. now online. I think the older games are way harder than the newer ones. All of these COD kids and online gamers wouldn't be so into it if they had 3 lives then they had to start back at the beginning.
