I found myself always looking for the best horror games. I remember I loved the first silent hill so much but could only play in with daylight lol. I'm also a big fan of resident evil which doesn't technically count as strictly horror game but still very scary for me.

Silent Hill 2. That game messed me up for a good week.

I actually stream horror games for my friends lol. They think it's funny scaring the crap out of me. And I don't mind. But most of the times, indie games that are horror based wreck me.

Lol that sounds like so much fun. Which indie horror game would you recommend?

How can you do that for your friends? I guess it's funny for them? You must have a really thick skin. I don't mind a dark game (I'm an absolute addict to Alice Madness Returns and things in that vein), but I am way too much of a chicken for horror. I tried Alan Wake. That freaked the hell out of me. I couldn't play it because I was always too terrified of moving forward.

I wouldn't call it horror really, I guess because of the comic genre, but the ending of the Batman: Arkham VR game is just messed up. And you're in virtual reality so its particularly effective! I whacked my head on the wall more than once trying to look all around my bat cave.

I do avoid the horror genre in and of itself. I'm just not that into the jump scares. Have any of you tried horror in VR?

Off topic: Do you guys watch horror films too? Or is it just games? (I can handle the Resident Evil films, but am too much of a wimp for horror movies usually).

I've never tried horror in VR I think that would absolutely be horrifying for me!

I love scary movies as well! I just went to see IT and it was amazing. I'm a such a horror fan, Halloween is just my favorite season as well lol.

I played Resident Evil II or III I think... Which ever one was on the train.

The part that scared me the most was the zombies that popped up our of no where and that giant spider boss.

I love horror games. I like Silent Hill games and Resident Evil. The Walking dead first person games aren't exactly scary but are good on a big screen when they pop up out of nowhere.
I don't usually get scared much though. I'm also a horror movie fan.
